In New Orleans, the owners of a stylish private residence had the opportunity to dictate shape, features and finish of their 825 sq. ft (77 sq. m) transformable pool, all thanks to AKVO and its versatile Spiralift®. The pool floor solution provided was tailored to the owner’s specific needs, featuring full-width in-pool stairs, three retractable seats and a 17 ft x 5 ft (5 m x 1.5 m) central island, which can be deployed independently. These features, with powerful jets, can be configured to create a lazy river, allowing swimmers to float around the island. Perfect for entertaining guests on a warm sunny day!
When dinnertime rolls around, their pool can disappear within minutes fully hidden beneath an attractive mosaic tile terrace, with a level of detail reminiscent of Persian carpeting.
