Olympic Swimming Center, Munich, Germany

In collaboration with Bodan Schwimmbadbau GmbH & Co. KG

The Olympic Swimming Center in Munich features an Akvo movable pool floor, a project executed in collaboration with Akvo’s German partner, Bodan. A specialist in fully stainless-steel solutions, Bodan goes a step further by designing and fabricating the pool shell and movable pool floor in stainless-steel.

Akvo is always open to collaborating with local partners, supporting and coordinating to ensure a successful final result.

This movable pool floor was installed as a replacement to the obsolete hydraulic system installed 40 years prior.

The client, delighted with the final product, appreciated the compact nature of Akvo’s equipment, allowing them to maximize their pool depth. Akvo’s state-of-the-art technology is the perfect solution for replacement or retrofit of other movable pool floor technologies.

PEPS Université Laval, Quebec City (QC), Canada

This was the first Akvo movable pool floor installed in a public pool setting. Functional since 2013, this system has allowed the Université de Laval to offer a wide range of aquatic activities to students and athletes.
